Karen E. EFT is usually a short term (8-20 sessions), structured approach to couples therapy formulated in the early 80's by Drs. Sue Johnson and Les Greenberg. EFT is also used with families. A substantial body of research outlining the effectiveness of EFT now exists. As an Approved Supervisor Candidate, Karen assists colleagues individually or in small groups learn the philosophy and EFT model of therapy, practicing an EFT model of supervision, incorporating the key stages and steps of the model with self of therapist understanding. Karen will travel to areas in Fairfield and New Haven Counties to assist groups of colleagues grow and learn professionally, as well as personally.
